TEAM BUILDING GUIDE

OVERVIEW

This guide will cover on various potential team building based on current data (v.1.1). The guide will be further updated with new data.

ELEMENTAL ADVANTAGE

There are 6 Elements in Duet Night Abyss.
- Pyro
- Hydro
- Anemo
- Electro
- Lumino
- Umbro

All 6 elements have Bonus Effects that deal periodic elemental damage. Lumino has an additional effect that refreshes the duration of all Bonus Effects, while Umbro has an additional effect that reduces enemy stance recovery speed.

Elements also have advantages and disadvantages over each other. When one element has the advantage, it deals 400% more damage to its target. All other non-advantaged elements deal 50% reduced damage instead.

The elemental advantage chain is as follows:
Hydro → Pyro → Anemo → Electro → Hydro

Lumino and Umbro are direct opposites: they deal 400% increased damage to each other. However, when fighting against any other element, both Lumino and Umbro deal 50% reduced damage.

Because all non-advantaged elements deal reduced damage, it’s crucial to build characters for each element in order to handle various enemy types and maximize your overall DPS potential.

TEAM BUILD

The following are the recommended template of team based on current available data. The team building will be updated on Launch and whenever new info come.
Feel free to use whichever team to player's liking and according to stage's elemental weakness. It's also possible to mix-match the elements, this is not mandatory team build, merely recommendation.

FARMING TEAM

REBECCA TEAM

This team revolves around Rebecca’s main mechanic, where her DoT can spread through killed enemies to nearby ones, while she keeps spamming jellyfish to damage surrounding targets, with enough Range, this team can cover almost whole map.

Truffle and Filbert provide healing and damage boosts for teammates.

Fina boost everyone's additional DMG with multi element, and great uptime.

Tabethe summons [Tentacles] that grant Skill Damage Boost to teammates and immobilize enemies. She also provides Skill DMG +8% for everyone.

RHYTHM TEAM

This team revolves around Rhythm, where she can move at high speed with a damaging aura around her, while gathering enemies nearby.

Truffle and Filbert provide healing and damage boosts for teammates.

Fina boost everyone's additional DMG with multi element, and great uptime.

Tabethe summons [Tentacles] that grant Skill Damage Boost to teammates and immobilize enemies. She also provides Skill DMG +8% for everyone.
